| Comments | This Oligo-dT primed cDNA library was made from tomato vegetative shoots including meristems and small expanding leaves of 8 week old plants. 1.4x106 independent clones. The 1st 3 plates were screened for CAB/rbcL by Yimin Xu. Plates 1-6 were sequenced by Novartis. Plates 4-6 were sequenced bidirectionally by Cereon. Duplicates of plates 1-26 are at BTI, TAMU, TIGR and Clemson.The plants were grown w/ 18hr photoperiod under 400 W sodium lights and a temperature regime of 18C at night and 28C during the day. Plants were freely watered and fertilized. The insert size is 1.5 Kb average, 1.3-2.8 range |
