Tobacco genomic sequences README

The tobacco genomic sequences were generated by NC State University under the Tobacco Genome Initiative funded by PM. The sequences in this directory were downloaded from NC State servers as publicly available sequences.

The reads/raw/ directory contains the raw sequences we downloaded.

The reads/clean/ directory contains the sequences cleaned at SGN with the seqclean program (TIGR).

The assembly/ directory contains an assembly of the cleaned sequences.
