This directory contains information about suggested seedbacs for the tomato genome sequencing project. For each chromosome, there is a spreadsheet file that contains the markers from the F2-2000 map and two suggested seedbacs. If only a single BAC maps to an anchor point, only one BAC appears in this list. Shaded cells denote marker locations that are presumably in the heterochromatin.

The file eu-hetero-limit-markers.txt lists the markers that are estimated to be very close to the hetero/eu-chromatin boundary. The file has the following columns: <marker name> (tab) <north marker> (tab) <cM dist> (tab) <south marker> (tab) <cM dist> (newline)

The two files chr_01_seedbacs.xls and chr_10_seedbacs.xls contain an analysis of all seedbacs and associated FPC contigs, listing possible extension BACs.
