Kinase Stable Cell Lines

Kinases belong to the family of phosphotransferases and play critical roles in the process known as phosphorylation in which a phosphorylated substrate and ADP are produced. On the basis of the substrate kinases act upon, they can be generally classified into three groups: protein kinases, lipid kinases and carbohydrate kinases. The phosphorylation state of a molecule controlled by a specific kinase can modulate its activities or interactions with other molecules in response to an external stimulus.
